This detailed HO Scale 1986 Eagle Model 10 Bus (1979-1986) is perfect for adding realism to your modern-era city streets or out on the open highway. The Model 05 was built until 1980 when it was superseded by the Model 10 of which 2,217 were built until 1987. In 1982 a second factory was opened in Harlingen, Texas, to produce a 2-axle Model 10 Suburban. This version met with little success as only 84 were made. This limited-run model features a die cast body with injection-molded parts, window glazing and fine decoration. It’s a great addition to your 1980s and later layout scenes or vehicle collection. This Bus is one of many detailed HO Scale bus models from Iconic Replicas.

The # 2001 on the Pinterest picture, was the prototype that American Eagle delivered to Voyageur in 1984. This vehicle was equipped with an automatic transmission. Voyageur then ordered for the Quebec network, if I remember a dozen vehicles that were equipped with a manual transmission, and assigned as a priority on the Montreal-Quebec route. As I remember, the Ontarian Voyageur Colonial division had chosen MCI’s 96A3 instead.

Voyageur quickly sold these buses, reliability problem, while these GM and MCI were kept for more than 10 years the Eagles were sold after less than 4 years, if I remember correctly.

You know the city of Sherbrooke, when you had the misfortune to stop at a red light on the King and Wellington hill, it was almost impossible to leave.
Always available for pleasure and have a good day
