There has been much anticipation for CPKC to release their paint scheme on additional locomotives. Thanksgiving 2024 – many railfans began seeing the new delivery of ET44AC Tier 4 diesels in service. To date these locomotives have been sitting under wraps awaiting to have the tarps lifted. A total of at least 8 road numbers have emerged in revenue service. Striking a nice contrast to the many Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern painted units seen to date, these flashy locomotives are now hauling freight in the U.S.A. and Canada.
